Banky W & Tiwa Savage when they hosted a show on Ebony Life TV. In an exclusive with Vanguard, Marvin Records first lady, Tiwa Savage, has revealed that the most embarrassing moment of her life was when EME boss and singer, banky W allegedly saw her in the nude.
The Eminado crooner who is staging a come-back after her child delivery, said she has not had it all rosy in the music industry as she has had one or two embarrassing moments.
The mother-of-one disclosed how Banky W drew her attention to a certain part of her body that was exposed.
“My dress for my stage performance at 2face’s album launch arrived very late. Literally, it came in 5 minutes before I was supposed to mount the stage.
“I didn’t have time to try it on before my performance. The MC announced: ‘Next on stage is rising star, Tiwa Savage.’ So I quickly put it on. As soon as I was walking up stage, the zip ripped at the back and I didn’t even realise.
“Banky saw it and was like ‘Oh my God! Your whole back is opened. I was really embarrassed; just like he saw me naked” Tiwa said, adding that they tried to pin her up but all the while the band and everybody was on stage.
“I had to go back, change into something that was not planned. It was quite embarrassing,” she said
One of Nigeria’s front-line indigenous rapper, Olamide, has revealed his most embarrassing moments on his way to fame.
The YBNL Boss, Olamide, revealed that one of the most embarrassing moments in his life was when he was wrongly accused of stealing.
He made the revelation while speaking with Vanguard. When he was asked about his most embarrassment moment, the Shakiti Bobo crooner said: “I will pick an incident that happened in the studio a few years back. I was in the studio when this senior act came in to record a song and he said he was hungry.
Who else will he send to buy food if not me who was the youngest in the studio? The money he gave me was not enough for his meal, so I decided to add my own money. I even used my own money to pay for transportation.
“When I got back to the studio with the food, guess what this guy said to me “Cabasa, tell this your boy to give me my change, if he wants money, he should tell me and I will give him. He should not use trick to steal my money.
I almost got angry, but one look from ID Cabasa calmed me down. Today, the guy is one of my biggest fans and he is planning to do a song with me.”
The industrious rapper, whose street savvy punch-lines makes him unique will be dropping his fifth album this month.
