Jose Mourinho's side won the battle at Stamford Bridge as the Gunners had both Gabriel Paulista and Santi Cazorla sent off
Chelsea picked up their second Premier League win of the season in a fiery 2-0 victory over Arsenal at Stamford Bridge.
Second-half goals from Kurt Zouma and Eden Hazard sealed the points for Jose Mourinho's men, while Gabriel Paulista and Santi Cazorla saw red for the Gunners
Chelsea, with a man advantage just before the half-time whistle, unsurprisingly won the battle in possession with 60.1 per cent to Arsenal's 39.9%.
The Premier League champions also completed 547 passes on Saturday afternoon, while Arsene Wenger's men could only manage 280.
Eden Hazard has endured a sluggish start to the campaign but the Belgian was bright against Arsenal, as highlighted by the fact that he was successful in eight of his nine attempted dribbles.
Alexis Sanchez, meanwhile, attempted four dribbles and was successful on only two occasions. The Chilean also missed a glorious chance to equalise from close range.
